Ferrari drove on 21 may 1950 the first Formula 1 race. The first race was driven in Monaco with the Ferrari 125 F1. They drove with four cars. Two cars were from privateers. The two factory cars been drove by Alberto Ascari and Luigi Villoresi. Both where Italian. Villoresi started from the sixth place but after 63 laps the rear axle broke and he needed to quit. Ascari became second. The privateers become fourth and inoperative. In 1950 they drove 100 laps and it cost 3 hours and 18 minutes. Now they drive 76 laps and it cost 2 hours. Since then Ferrari drove 799 GPs, won 211 races, won 16 constructors titles and 15 drivers titels. That are all records. Picture: Ferrari.com
